This October we will be taking a group of students to New York on a once in a lifetime trip to experience music and culture.
We are really excited to be able to offer our first ever music trip to New York in October 2027 partnership with Venatour travel.
This once in a lifetime trip will include a Broadway performance and workshop, ‘History of the Bronx rap tour’ - the holy grail of hip-hop music scene globally, and where it all began and an incredible opportunity to attend a major ‘NFL American Football or NBA Basketball game’
The trip is now confirmed and will take place from Thursday 21 October to Tuesday 26th October 2027. This exciting programme will give young people the opportunity to see a show on Broadway, tour the city, take part in a musical theatre workshop with Broadway performers, and experience the excitement of an American sporting event, including the music, theatre and atmosphere that make these events truly spectacular.
The cost of this trip is £2,500 per person and bursary places are available - (a discount of £500 will be offered to students with verified GoCV+)
To secure your place we are asking for a £350 deposit, with a payment plan to follow up to clear the full trip balance by August 2027.

Please note: as the trip is now confirmed and going ahead, all deposits are non-refundable.
Return coach travel will be from a central Coventry location. Places are open for those in Year 8 and above in Autumn 2027 (2026/27 Year 7s–Year 12s).
Coventry Music will also run fundraising events to help with the overall costs. The accommodation will be in a 3-star hotel. Breakfast and 1 hot meal will be provided each day on the tour.
