Are you coming on our “American Rap on Broadway Tour” ?

THERE ARE STILL PLACES AVAILABLE ON THIS AMAZING TRIP AND ITS NOT TOO LATE TO GET INVOLVED!

In October 2027 we are excited to be taking students to New York to experience a musical once-in-a-lifetime adventure in partnership with Venatour travel.  

The trip will include a Broadway performance and workshop, ‘History of the Bronx rap tour’ - the holy grail of hip-hop music scene globally, and where it all began and an incredible opportunity to attend a major ‘NFL American Football or NBA Basketball game’ 

This exciting programme will give people the opportunity to access a show on Broadway, tour the city, experience a musical theatre workshop with Broadway performers and experience the excitement of an America sporting event, including the musical performances, theatre and experience that make these events a truly spectacular experience.

The trip will take place from Thursday 21 October to Tuesday 26th October 2027.

The cost of this trip is £2,500 per person and bursary places are available - (a discount of £500 will be offered to students with verified GoCV+) 

To secure your place we are asking for a £350 deposit, with a payment plan to follow up to clear the full trip balance by August 2027. 

Complete this form to book your place and make a deposit of £350 per person via the council website (select items - other payments - schools, libraries and learning - Coventry Music Group Sessions and enter £350 in the amount field) 
The remaining amount of the trip will then be spread across monthly payments from the date of the deposit until August 2027

Please note: all deposits are non-refundable. 

Return coach travel will be from a central Coventry location. Places are open for those in Year 8 and above in Autumn 2027 (2026/27 Year 7s–Year 12s). 

Coventry Music also hope to run fundraising events to help with the overall costs.  The accommodation will be in a 3-star hotel. Breakfast and 1 hot meal will be provided each day on the tour.
