The String Orchestra is a friendly and ambitious ensemble for string players (violin, viola, cello or double bass).
Members are drawn from a range of primary and secondary schools in the city, and are at levels from grade 2 to grade 6.
Repertoire is varied,and we play regular live concerts both as a group and as part of the larger Coventry Music concert series.

- Classical and film music, including Baroque favourites and Classical and Romantic pieces, as well as some film music and other arrangements.
- Ability
- If you are aged 9+ and currently Grade 3-6 on a string instrument, then we would love to have you join us. If you are a younger player, or under grade 3 then why not join our beginner String Group
